Kapt. Fatih TÜRKÜSTÜN

1943 İzmir doğumlu Kapt. Fatih A. TÜRKÜSTÜN, 1964 yılında Karşıyaka Koleji Edebiyat Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. Pratikten yetişerek kaptan ehliyeti alan Kapt. Fatih TÜRKÜSTÜN, STCW-95 Uluslararası 8 belge, Deniz Müsteşarlığı “Usta Öğretici Kaptan” ve Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı “Usta Öğretmen Belgesi” ne sahiptir. 1990-1996 yıllarında çeşitli gemilerde gemicilik, Güverte Zabitliği ve Gemi Kaptanlığı görevlerinde bulunan Fatih TÜRKÜSTÜN, halen Deniz Meslek okullarında öğretmenlik ve Denizci Yetiştirme kurumlarında STCW-95 kurs eğitmenliği yapmaktadır. TÜRKÜSTÜN, 01 – 04 Temmuz 1983, Çanakkale Piri Reis Sempozyumuna R/V K.Piri Reis gemisi ile katılmış ve “Piri Reis’in Ege Adaları Kartografya Çalışması Analiz ve Sentezi” hakkında tebliğ sunmuştur. 
 

Born in 1943 in Izmir, Fatih A. TURKUSTUN is a bachelor of Karsıyaka College, Department of Literature in 1964. He has got his “Mariner License” by training himself, and has 8 International licenses on STCW-95. He has a “Foreman Instructive License” from the Secretary of Maritime and “License of Master Teacher” from the Ministry of Education. During the years 1990 and 1996 he worked as a Mariner and Captain on many ships. Currently he is working as an Instructor at The Maritime Colleges and an Instructor of STCW-95 in many institutions. TÜRKÜSTÜN attended The Çanakkale Piri Reis Symposium in 1983 with The R/V K. Piri Reis ship and presented his study on “The Analysis of Piri Reis’s Aegian Islands Cartography Studies”.
