The Department of Navigation, Hydrography and Oceanography participates in national and international regional research project, in its area of interest. There are three projects, which are still continuing.

This project aims to develop a database, which includes the chemical, physical and biological oceanographic parameters of the Mediterranean and Black Sea. The neighboring countries will include their oceanographic inventories after quality control and build the high-resolution climatology of the area. The results of the project will be accessible and available for education and research purposes.
